The company are a large and leading Fuel cell manufacturer, leading the charge towards zero emission fuel cell power system. Supplying into a variety of industries and utilising cutting edge technology to improve power production for the entire market.
The role
Reporting into the Quality Manager, they are looking for a skilled Electronics Inspector to join their growing team in Loughborough on a standard day shift.
You will take responsibility for:
- Ensuring that the company maintains excellent quality PCBA's amongst other electronic components.
- Conduct Electronic tests, inspections and fault find PCBA's and other electronic components.
- Show adherence to planned testing and inspection skills that are set by management to ensure that KPI's are met.
- Coordinate corrective actions and containments whilst measuring supplier performance and reporting back to management.
- Have a drive and mindset towards continuous improvement and always looking for opportunities to improve products, processes or equipment.
- Conduct internal product quality audits.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Experience working in a Electronics Inspection role previously, with experience in PCBA's desirable
- Level 3 Engineering or relevant qualification (City & Guilds, HNC, etc)
- Be able to interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience working to ISO 9001 standards or IPC 610/ 620 standards.
- Work with a flexible and solutions based approach
