The company
The company are a large and leading Fuel cell manufacturer, leading the charge towards zero emission fuel cell power system. Supplying into a variety of industries and utilising cutting edge technology to improve power production for the entire market.
The role
Reporting into the Quality Manager, they are looking for a skilled CMM Quality Technician to join their growing team in Loughborough on a standard day shift.
You will take responsibility for:
- Split your time across good inspection and other general Quality Engineering duties
- Liasing with suppliers to solve Quality issues
- Supporting the Quality team with their product audits and process improvement, as well as supplier improvements too.
- Inspection of a range of mechanical components using CMM/ OGP and hand tools.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Level 3 Engineering or relevant qualification (City & Guilds, HNC, etc)
- Be able to interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience working in Mechanical Inspection and/or CMM Inspection within an engineering background.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- CMM programming experience would be desirable
- Work with a flexible and solutions based approach
