Service / Installation Engineer

The company

A global Specialist Machine Tool Manufacturing Business based in Derby, working closely with some of the world's leading businesses. After seeing a large increase in production and orders within their customer base, the company are seeking to expand their team and are looking for a Service Engineer to join them on a permanent basis to provide service coverage in the Bristol Region.

The role

A Service Engineer/Installation Engineer are now required join the team on a permanent basis.

You will take responsibility for:

• Installation of large-scale and small-scale machinery
• Technical support to customers regarding any issues or breakdowns with equipment
• Servicing and Fault finding on equipment and machinery, primarily through feed equipment
• Interrogating and fault finding on PLCS
• Carrying out regular OEM recommended service checks on customers machinery

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Electro-Mechanical experience (multi-skilled 50%-50%)
• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (HNC, HND, NVQ Level, etc.)
• 16^th 17^th 18^th Edition electrical qualifications
• Sociable and customer facing skills, able to problem solve and troubleshoot, and the ability to work within a team or independently.
  
  

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Experience with and an understanding of PLCS would be desirable
• Experience of working in automation / robotics would be highly advantageous

What is on offer

On offer is the chance to join one of the Largest Machine tool Manufacturing Companies who are offering a competitive salary of £38,000-£48,000 (Depending on experience) based on 40-50 hour working week working Monday - Friday.
