Maintenance Engineer
The company
Industry leading machine tool manufacturer, operating globally, supporting key OEM's operating within the Aerospace, Automotive, Power Generation, Oil and Gas and Nuclear sectors as well as general engineering industries. Globally recognised for their state-of-the-art machining systems as being the most advanced products within the market. After Taking on large contracts and now implementing a number of key projects with UK customers, the company are now seeking an Experienced Electrical Service Engineer.
The role
An Electrical Service Engineer is now required to join the team on a permanent basis to work at a single customer site based in the Northwest.
You will take responsibility for:
- Carrying out the service, repair, and installation of high specification 5 axis horizontal and vertical machine tools
- Diagnosing and correcting errors on 5 axis CNC machine tools
- Fault finding, and interrogation of PLC programs using Siemens' S5 and S7
- Undertaking planned maintenance of machines and identifying any parts required
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Experience working on Machine Tools/CNC machines (servicing or maintaining)
- Electro-Mechanical Maintenance in an industrial/Manufacturing environment.
- Experience within a manufacturing/Engineering/Production environment.
- Strong analytical, root cause and problem-solving skills
- Full valid driving license
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Previous experience working in a service role would be highly advantageous
- Accustomed to working in high-pressured environments
