HGV Class 1 Driver Birmingham (Days)
The company
The world's largest logistics company, operating from sites UK wide across multiple key brands and sectors who are looking for a number of Class 1 Drivers to work out of one of their Birmingham sites.
The role
A HGV Class 1 Driver is now required join the team on a long-term ongoing / permanent basis with a variety of shifts available to suit as the company operate a 24/5 operation. We have work available on Days (6am-4pm/6pm) OR Nights (8pm-6am), working 50-55 hours weekly.
You will take responsibility for:
- Working either 10-12 Hours a Day or Night Shift
- Working across the greater midlands area
- No handball
Shift:
- Monday-Friday
- 6am-4pm/6pm AND/OR 8PM-6AM/7AM
- 10-11 Hour Shifts
Pay:
- £16-£17 PAYE (£41,600-£45,000)
- £24-£25 after 45 hours
- £50-£60 a week additional allowance for nights
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- A Valid HGV Class 1 licence entitlement (C)
- A Minimum of 1 Year plus HGV Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points
- A valid Digital Tachograph & CPC card
- A VERIFIED 5 Year Education/Employment History
- Valid DBS Check or willing to complete a DBS check
