CNC Machine Operator
The company
One of the largest Engineering groups in the UK who specialises in the machining and assembly of cast and forged parts, supporting a range of industries including the Power Generation, Off Highway, Construction and Automotive. Due to an increase in work, the company are now looking to add 5 CNC Operators to their stable team.
The role
A CNC Operator preferably Miller is now required to join the team, with a variety of hours/shifts available to suit the successful applicants. Shifts available include a Day shift 7:30am - 4pm (Monday-Thursday) with an early finish on Fridays, Night Shift 8:45pm - 7am (Monday-Thursday)
You will take responsibility for:
- Operating Milling Machines
- Able to achieve set production targets for quantity of parts produced per shift
- Will Load and unload components / castings in to and out of CNC machines
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Experience of working within an Engineering/Manufacturing setting
- Operating of machinery (Any machines considered)
- Will have have some Engineering or Mechanical Handling experience
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Will be confident at loading and unloading components / castings in to and out of CNC machines
- Ideally some experience operating CNC Machines (CNC Milling would be an advantage)
- Driving Licence or direct Transport

On offer you have the opportunity to join a large Engineering Company with lots of progression opportunities. Along with this you will benefit from a competitive salary of between £20,000 - £22,000 (£9.50 - £10.66 per hour) depending on shifts.
