Transport Manager
The company
One of the UK's largest leading Logistics and Freight companies who provide a full range of services Internationally, due to an increase of work, they are now looking for a Transport Manager to join their Stoke-On-Trent site.
The roleA Transport Manager is now required who will be responsible for the entire Transport department and Transport employees, with 10 Transport staff reporting into them including, Supervisors, Planners and Admin.
You will take responsibility for:
* Managing 10 Transport staff consisting of Supervisors, Planners, Admin.
* Managing a large fleet and overseeing 30 vehicles from a Class 1 to a Van
* Route Planning- Pallet Network
* Dealing with all Compliance and Health and Safety
* Customer Dealings
What you needIt is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
* CPC Road Transport Licence
* Experience working as a Transport Manager
* General Haulage experience
Other DESIRABLE skills include:* Experience in a Transport environment
* Operators LicenceWhat is on offer
