The company
A global Specialist Machine Tool Manufacturing Business based in Derby, working closely with some of the world's leading Businesses. After seeing a large increase in orders over the covid period, the company are seeking to expand their team and are looking for A Service Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
The role
A Service Engineer are now required join the team on a permanent basis.
You will take responsibility for:
- Installations, servicing and responding to breakdowns on Woodworking Machinery, saws and edge banders (Edge banding machines, Double end tenoners)
- Working with jacks and skates, levelling and measuring equipment
- PLC Fault finding/Identifying, Beckhoff
- Breakdowns and installations on Robotics primarily KUKA.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Experience/Ability to Fault find on PLC'S
- Mechanical experience on woodworking machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Experience within a manufacturing/Engineering/Production environment
- Experience within an Engineering role, Maintenance/Service etc.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience/Ability to Fault find on PLC'S
- Programming experience on PLC'S, ideally structured text and (C programming experience)
- Codesys Software experience
