The company
One of the largest third-party logistics companies in the world, looking after key blue-chip customers nationwide, working with a range of industries from FMCG, Food, Retail and Manufacturing. The company is now undergoing significant expansion across its flagship Warwickshire site due to a huge influx of demand with key customers and on the back of this growth are seeking Forklift VNA and Reach drivers to join their production team.
The role
Reporting to and working under the Production and Operations Manager, a physically fit operative, who will work in a busy fast paced warehouse environment who will be responsible for the lifting and moving of incoming and outgoing goods.
You will take responsibility for:
- replenishment, checking, load/unloading of goods
- Following quality and safety procedures
- Moving products safely around the warehouse using Forklift Trucks
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- a valid VNA license and/or previous VNA experience is essential
- Be physically fit to cope with lifting and carrying
- A team player with good communication skills who is hardworking and reliable.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Willing to be flexible to work rotating shift and potential overtime when the business requires would be advantageous
