Transport Manager
The company
A leading UK 3PL business providing nationwide contracts and supply chain management across a variety of sectors, they are now looking for a Transport Manager to join their site based in Hoddesdon
The role
A Transport Manager is now required who will be responsible for the planning and management of both sub contracted operations and own fleet, ownership of Transport budget, responsible for all Compliance.
You will take responsibility for:
- Responsible for planning and utilisation of drivers, own fleet, and sub-contractors
- Ensuring all compliance is completed
- Dealing with all internal operational departments
- Responsible for Transport budget and the profitability of operations through fleet utilization
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- At least 3 years management experience within Transport
- CPC Licence
- Experience managing a large fleet
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience within 3PL is advantageous
- Knowledge of Road Runner or Paragon would be advantageous
- Experience working within the Beverage industries would be adavntageous
What is on offer
On offer is a chance to join a very large business with an excellent reputation in the local area, the salary on offer is between £55,000-£60,000 with a 10% annual bonus, with private healthcare.
