The Company
A global supply chain and logistics solution provider to some of the world's largest Automotive, Technology, MedTech, Industrial and Healthcare corporations. Specialising in the design and implementation of logistical solutions. Due to a significant increase in demand with several key customers, they are seeking a Maintenance Technician to to join the teams at their Hinckley and Lutterworth facilities.
The role
Working under the Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician is required to carry out preventative maintenance at their facilities based in Hinckley and Lutterworth.
You will take responsibility for:
- Installation of various Equipment and Products
- Performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment such conveyors and carrying out racking inspections ensuring they meet with SEMA standards
- Carrying out PAT testing and PPM checks to site infrastructure
- Escorting and inducting external contractors to site
- General handyman duties such as painting, decorating, and cleaning, as well as small carpentry jobs and the repairing of plumbing systems
- Ensuring adherence to company facility standards
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- A minimum of 2 years' Experience in preventative maintenance
- UK Driving license (due to travel between sites)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Working in a logistics / supply chain solutions environment would be highly advantageous
- Previous trade experience in electrical, plumbing and carpentry would be desirable
- Ability to work within a very demanding environment whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality
