The Company
A global supply chain and logistics solution provider to some of the world's largest Automotive, Technology, MedTech, Industrial and Healthcare corporations. Specializing in the design and implementation of logistical solutions. Due to a significant increase in demand with a key Automotive OEM customer in Wolverhampton the customer is now looking for 10 experienced Forklift (Counterbalance) drivers to join them.
The role
A number of Forklift Driver's (Reach) are now required to join the business on a long-term ongoing basis at their site in Wolverhampton, on a weekly rotating shift (Days/Afternoons).
You will take responsibility for:
- Unloading and loading of material using a Forklift Truck
- Operating the Forklift truck within a busy manufacturing plant
- Required to use additional necessary equipment to assist with loading/unloading and moving of materials which includes use of scan guns
- Ensuring maintenance and upkeep of FLT truck, completing daily checks and check sheet
- Working on a weekly rotating shift (Mornings and afternoons)
- Hours are Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:30 and 06:00-13:30 Friday / 14:30-23:00 Monday-Thursday and 13:30-21:00 Friday
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Previous experience as a Forklift Driver (FLT Driver) with a Counterbalance License.
- Comfortable working with a rotating weekly shift pattern
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Reach license is desirable
- Experience of the Manufacturing and/or Automotive industry is an advantage
