The company
A World-renowned and Industry Leading Machine Tool Manufacturing Business based in Worcester, working closely with some of the world's leading Global Brands. After seeing a large increase in production due to a significant increase in demand with key customers, the company are seeking to expand their team and are looking for a Service Engineer to join them on a permanent basis to provide coverage in the Southern Region.
The role
A Service Breakdown Engineer is now required to join the team on a permanent basis to provide coverage in the Southern Region of the UK.
You will take responsibility for:
- Responding to routine service and breakdown requests with a wide range of blue-chip customers, on a variety of machinery of CNC machining centres, CNC Controls, turning and milling, multi-axis machinery and other precision machinery.
- Providing coverage to customers in the Southern region to install machines, service and respond to customer issues/breakdowns.
- Responsible for installations and post installation support
- Developing an understanding and product knowledge of the wider range of machines tools across the group with occasional training across the UK and Europe.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Excellent knowledge and experience working on Machine Tools/CNC machines (servicing or maintaining)
- Electro-Mechanical Maintenance in an industrial/Manufacturing/Metal working environment.
- Ability to diagnose faults using PLC systems and familiar with CNC Controls (Heindenhain, Mazatrol, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens)
- Must have a flexible working approach, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Previous experience of working with Mazatrol, Heindenhain, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens
