The company
Are you looking for an exciting new marketing opportunity where you will spearhead the development and execution of a large marketing budget for a world renown logistics organisation who are a partner to some of the world's largest and most innovative brands. With revenues in excess of £5Billion Globally and having undergone significant development and investment into their UK operations, the business is now looking for an influential and highly motivated Marketing & Communications Manager to lead and drive the UK Marketing strategy.

The role
Reporting directly into the UK MD, a Marketing Manager who is able to effectively lead internal and external marketing initiatives, is now required to join the business; using their creativity, vision and flair to elevate the company's market presence and make a significant impact on communications across both UK & European operations.
You will take responsibility for:
- Designing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase awareness of the company and its activities in the UK market
- Conducting market research to identify new opportunities, services, solutions, to maintain competitiveness and stay ahead of industry trends
- Defining the marketing offer and value proposition, and effectively managing sales materials to support the sales team. Producing fresh and compelling content across offline and digital channels including written, photo & video content
- Generating and executing operational marketing plans, including offline and digital campaigns, to drive lead generation, customer relationships, and retention
- Creating a marketing plan which drives the customer journey and experience, incorporating advertising campaigns, customer events, awards & exhibitions.
- Collaborating with the Sales Director and Sales teams to effectively communicate with target populations.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- An array of experience in offline and digital marketing, either in-house or with an agency, with a proven track record of delivering successful marketing plans.
- Ability to create high-value propositions and employ innovative approaches to marketing.
- A dynamic and collaborative personality, with a passion for working in an international organisation which partners with and supports the world's leading brands
- A consultative approach, allowing you to effectively interact, influence, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Service-oriented mindset, serving as a valuable partner to internal clients to help them achieve their business and sales objectives.
- Strategic thinking abilities, coupled with excellent execution skills and a track record of handling multiple projects independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience in the transport and logistics industry would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, specifically Salesforce, would be useful
