The company
One of the world's largest Facilities Management corporations, who undertake global construction projects and facilities contracts. Working in partnership with local authority on a city wide housing re-development programme.
The role
With the full force of one of the construction industry's largest companies, they are looking for a Site Manager to take control of projects from their Birmingham location.
You will take responsibility for:
- Day to day management of projects and construction on site
- Make sure that all of the HSEQ requirements are all maintained and show legal compliance
- Working with the Contracts manager to ensure that contracts are completed on time, in an efficient and cost effective manner
- Provide risk assessments and all other checks are undertaken throughout the project
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Proven experience in a Site Manager Capacity within the Housing sector
- In depth relevant knowledge of Building and Health and Safety legislation
- Valid UK Driving license
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Knowledge of local construction projects and experience of partnership agreements
- Knowledge of sustainability projects
- Working knowledge of Kitchen and Bathroom projects would be desirable
- Experience and knowledge of EWI (External Wall Insulation) projects would be advantageous
