The company
One of the world's largest Facilities Management corporations, who undertake global construction projects and facilities contracts. Working in partnership with Local Authority on a city wide housing re-development programme. Now looking for Assistant Site Managers and Site Managers and various levels to assist on a range of large scale projects.
The role
With the full force of one of the construction industry's largest companies, they are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to take control of projects from their Birmingham location.
You will take responsibility for:
- Day to day management of projects and construction on site
- Make sure that all of the HSEQ requirements are all maintained and show legal compliance
- Working with the Contracts manager to ensure that contracts are completed on time, in an efficient and cost effective manner
- Provide risk assessments and all other checks are undertaken throughout the project
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Proven experience in an Assistant Site Manager Capacity within the Housing sector
- In depth relevant knowledge of Building and Health and Safety legislation
- Ideally experience and knowledge of EWI (External Wall Insulation) projects would be advantageous
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Knowledge of local construction projects and experience of partnership agreements
- Knowledge of sustainability projects
- Working knowledge of Kitchen and Bathroom projects would be desirable
