Quality Engineer
The company
A forward thinking and exciting company, who operate within the Aerospace, Automotive and Defence industries. With major contracts and huge projects ongoing. They are a Automation solutions provider, who manufacture various machined parts for industry.
The role
They are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the team in Tamworth, working with the Quality Manager.
You will take responsibility for:
- The creation of PPAP and .PAP documentation for customers using Sempre software
- Control of all customer documentation and maintenance of those records
- Internal auditing to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Internal auditing to AS 9100 an other industry standards as required by customers
- Calibration control
- Assisting with the inspection department upon busy periods
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineering capacity in a manufacturing background
- Proven experience and knowledge of Quality Engineering in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders internal and external and of all levels
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
- Excellent experience and knowledge of PPAP or .PAP
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience working in an Automotive, Aerospace or Defence background
- Degree in engineering or relevant subject
- Knowledge and/or experience of CMM (Mitutoyo, Cosmos)
- Knowledge of Inspection protocols and techniques for mechanical parts

On offer is the opportunity to join a company with a repertoire of exciting projects and contracts. To join a skilled team to ensure the excellent quality of all manufactured goods. They are offering a salary of £40,000 for a 39-hour week. Mon- Thurs 7:15- 4:15 and Fri 7:15-3:15 pm.
