The company
Are you Site manager who is looking for an opportunity to work with one of the World's largest corporations whose UK arm are one of the region's largest FM & Construction organisations? You will have the opportunity to work in partnership with a local authority on a city wide housing redevelopment & refurbishment programme worth over £150million. An experienced and dynamic Site Manager is now required to join them as part of their growth plans.
The role
Now looking for a dynamic and all rounded, Site Manager to take control of projects from their Birmingham location. The initial project will be a refurbishment project on a number of low rise properties.
You will take responsibility for:
- Day to day management of projects and construction on site
- Management of varied refurbishment projects consisting of, External Wall Insulations, Groundworks, Structural work, Windows replacement etc
- Make sure that all of the HSEQ requirements are all maintained and show legal compliance
- Working with the Contracts manager to ensure that contracts are completed on time, in an efficient and cost effective manner
- Provide risk assessments and all other checks are undertaken throughout the project
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Proven experience in a Site Manager Capacity within the Housing sector
- In depth relevant knowledge of Building and Health and Safety legislation
- Valid UK Driving license
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Knowledge of local construction projects and experience of partnership agreements
- Knowledge of sustainability projects
- Working knowledge of refurbishment projects and / or low rise schemes
- Experience and knowledge of EWI (External Wall Insulation) projects, Groundworks, Structural Works would be advantageous
- Experience and track record of working on high value projects
