The role
Reporting directly into the Group Marketing Director, as Digital Marketing Executive you will effectively operate as the number two within the global marketing team. Utilising your digital marketing prowess, you will elevate the company's brand and product awareness through effective implementation of their online development whilst operating effectively in a varied and dynamic role.
You will take ownership of the social media platforms, specifically Linkedin, in developing a clear and calendared schedule of posts to support the sales team and company profiles.
Happy to get stuck in and help with a variety of hands on tasks which may involve traveling to shows to help setup the stand, liaising with internal departments to ensure a thorough understanding of the product range and innovations coming through.
Whilst digital will be the focus, you'd need to be ready to be thrown in to anything marketing related, from helping with the photographing of a new product to taking enquiries on a show stand. A willingness to get stuck in is a must.
You will take responsibility for:
- Day to day project management of the company's Digital marketing campaigns across PPC, SEO, Google Analytics
- Maintain and update the Group website covering the 7 sites.
- Assist with the planning of and schedules of e-shots via the CRM system, Salesforce and Pardot
- Analysing data and trends to understand the value of campaigns and implementation and execution of successful campaigns
- Working closely with and directing external agencies to implement effective long and short term campaigns and
- Organisation of tradeshows necessary tradeshows and events
- Development of the marketing strategy under the guidance of the Marketing Director
- Liaise with and coordinate external suppliers to support the digital marketing plans.
- Directing and supporting copywriters on development of material and comms
- Assisting sales team in development of sales and CRM strategy
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Proficiency within Digital Marketing and experience of working effectively within a role implementing SEO / PPC strategies for or on behalf of global / corporate organisations.
- Strong experience with Google Analytics and PPC across social media campaigns.
- Dynamic individual who wants to commit to a wide ranging and varied role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an enthusiastic and confident nature which is able to collaborate with multiple external and internal stakeholders
- Proficient copywriting experience is a must.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience of working within / with Manufacturing / Packaging / Logistics / Ecommerce fulfilment sectors
- Working knowledge of Wordpress would be a distinct advantage
- Previous experience with Salesforce and Pardot is preferred
- Experience and understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud would be an extremely desirable skill.
- Manipulation of data using excel preferred
- EU language - German preferred
