The company
A well established Electronics Manufacturer based in Warwick, who have a longstanding history of producing the highest quality bespoke Electronic products into a range of industries ranging from Robotics & Automotive through to Aerospace & Telecoms. Due to an increase in demand with customers, they are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to the join the business.
The role
Reporting into the Operation Manager, a Technical Sales Engineer is required to join the team on a permanent basis.
You will take responsibility for:
- Account management of a range of customers from various industries
- Interpreting customer requirements and Engineering Drawings and relaying this to internal production/engineering teams
- Estimating costs & processing quotations
- Working closely with technical teams to project manage orders from cradle to grave
- Work with projects & engineering team to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Previous experience working within commercial and Electronic Manufacturing environments
- Technically competent and able to read Engineering Drawings
- Ideally experienced with estimating projects and BOM's (Bill of Materials)
- A good understanding of MS Office products, particularly Excel
- Able to work under own initiative and to follow instructions
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience of handling complex electronic assemblies and box build
- Previous experience in process improvement and some level of project management
- A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Manufacturing discipline, or equivalent experience
