A leading Global Manufacturing company, that specialises in the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality tools and industrial products. Catering to a wide range of industries such as Automotive, Aerospace and Electronics, the company has built a reputation for its commitment to precision and innovation. They are always working to cater to the ever-evolving demands of the market and are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join the business working along side key customers in the UK.
The role
Reporting to the Sales/General Manger, a Field Sales Engineer is now required to take responsibility and accountability for the sales and growth within either the North or South of the UK. With no KPIs and commission paid the following month after a sale, this is a great opportunity for a hard working sales professional to grow within the engineering/manufacturing space.
You will take responsibility for:
- Managing and supporting new customers across the North or South of the UK, as well as developing existing customer relationships, sales leads, and projects
- Attending trade shows to generate new business
- Working alongside key customers to supply their product needs
- Creating and implementing sales development plans
- Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Experience working in field sales and previous experience selling directly into an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- The ability to develop existing and new client relationships and a proven track record in account management
- Must have knowledge and experience with at least one of the following areas: Pumps & Air Compressors, Quick Connect Couplings or Power & Machine Tools
- Must hold a valid UK driving license
What is on Offer
On offer is the chance to join a Global manufacturing company, who offer a competitive 4% pension contribution, 25 days holiday and a 35 hour work week (9-5pm). Along with additional benefits including a company car (VW Golf Estate) with fuel card, a laptop and phone to facilitate work responsibilities. As well as a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE £40,000-£50,000 year 1), which is supplemented by a subsistence allowance for eligible business-related expenses.
