The company
A global manufacturing company which provides unique power generation solutions to a wealth of industries including Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Built Environment; manufacturing unique Turnkey products and exporting worldwide from their Burton facility. With exceptional demand from a global customer base, this fantastic business is now seeking Panel Wireman on both a contract and permanent basis.
The role
Reporting into the Production Manager, a number of Panel Wireman are now required to join the business who will take responsibility for wiring and fitting control panel units of varying sizes.
You will take responsibility for:
- Building control panels from scratch
- Reading complex schematic drawings
- Wiring large control cabinets up to 6 metres in size down to smaller panels 1 ft in size
- Working Autonomously as well as within a larger team
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- The ability to read Electrical schematic drawings
- Experience of building complex panels
- An experienced wireman who has worked within a manufacturing setting
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Any additional experience of testing would be advantageous however not essential
