The company
A global manufacturing business based in Birmingham supplying into the world's leading Aerospace and defence Industries. The company is now undergoing significant expansion across its flagship Birmingham site due to a huge influx of demand with key customers. The maintenance/engineering team are now seeking an Administrator to provide maternity cover on a 8-12-month basis.
The role
An Administrative Assistant reporting into the Maintenance and Engineering Managers, who will take responsibility of the current maintenance planning systems.
You will take responsibility for:
- Co-ordinating current planning systems and carrying out administrative duties such as maintenance schedules, orders, data-input, and day-to-day reporting
- Liaising with and supporting key internal stakeholders
- Checking Operational competency of equipment and ensuring they meet occupational standards
- Placing orders and controlling stock
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel
- Must be organised, self-motivated, have a good attention to detail and a strong communicator
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production, engineering, maintenance and/or service setting. Previous experience supporting manufacturing teams would be highly advantageous
