The company
A leading Aluminium and Cast metals supplier for the Aerospace and Automotive industries. They have recently seen large growth on the back of significant investment. They are now looking to expand their Maintenance Team.
The role
A Maintenance Engineer is now required to join the business to take responsibility for the execution of preventative and reactive maintenance across their Worcester site.
You will take responsibility for:
- To assist in the breakdown recovery of a variety of Furnaces and Press machines and various other equipment associated with the site.
- To perform & record all Total Preventative Maintenance in accordance with existing TPM plans
- To inspect, diagnose faults and repair all machines to be planned and completed to meet customer deadlines.
- Taking responsibility to advise on stocks levels and replacements of critical equipment and spares to the manager.
- Driving health and safety initiatives and ensuring continuous improvement and compliance across the sites.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- The candidate must have experience working in the maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical equipment, with working in the Aluminium and Cast Metals sector
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to make critical decisions whilst working under pressure. Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Must be well versed with Health and Safety and risk-assessment.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:- Previous experience of the Automotive BIW/Sheet Metal industry
- Experience of maintaining/working with Presses would be highly advantageous
- Must be apprenticeship trained and/or hold Industry training certifications
