A well-established Aerospace Supplier, working with some of the Aviation Industry's largest corporations. With expansive business plans and huge investment over the last 18 months. Following a period of growth, they are looking to add a Senior Quality Systems Engineer to the team.
The role
Reporting into the Client Quality Assurance Manager, they are looking for a Senior Quality Systems Engineer to help drive continuous improvement within the current Quality Department.You will take responsibility for:- Working closely with all business functions, customers, suppliers, regulatory and certification bodies to maintain up to date and relevant compliance
- Checking the internal Client systems accountability and ability to function correctly through Audits and subsequent fixes
- Continue to drive continuous improvements across all units and improve the key processes in place and to increase performance
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:- Experience maintaining compliance with UK standards such as Part 21O, Part 145 and AS 9100
- Good experience/knowledge working with Quality Management Systems within the Aerospace sector
- Experience of working with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent knowledge of AS 9100 and ISO 9001 regulations amongst other Aerospace standards such as Part 145, Part 21O, Part 21J and Part 21G
- Experience working on Internal and supplier audits
- Experience liaising with third parties to find common ground
- Previous experience of the Aerospace industry
- Knowledge of DOA-POA agreements and FOD and FAIR requirements
- Knowledge of managing audits in OASIS database
- Good data analysis skills and the ability to read and interpret data and present findings to other member of the team or management
- Experience with pushing root cause identification and use 8d problem solving skills to find and implement preventative measures
