One of the largest global Engineering and Manufacturing companies are on the lookout for a new team member. Specializing in construction vehicles, a compelling opportunity is now available for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer.
The role
An Electrical Design Engineer is now required join the team on a permanent basis.
You will take responsibility for:- Designing and developing low volt vehicle electrical systems
- Test and validation of electrical and electronic components systems
- Designing and developing technical specification and instructions
- Good knowledge of electrical and electronic components for use in the vehicle systems
- Developing Group Electrical Standards
- Performing electrical system and installation reviews
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Siemens NX
- Experience in circuit fault detection
- Capable and competent working independently, and within a team environment
- Minimum HND level in Electrical Engineering or similar degree
- Demonstrative experience in an automotive or vehicle electrical systems design
- Self- motivated and hardworking
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience in drawing/interpreting schematics for wiring/harnesses for vehicles
