CNC Programmer The company A well-established privately-owned manufacturing company who specialises
in subcontract CNC machining, supporting a range of industries including Automotive, Defence and the wider general manufacturing sector. Due to
significant recent investment, an increase in orders and the purchase of the state-of-the-art CNC machinery, the company are looking to add a
CNC Programmer to their stable team.
The role A CNC Programmer is now required to join the team, with an
Afternoon shifts available to suit the successful applicants. Shifts are
Monday-Wednesday 16:00pm - 02:00am and Thursday 15:00pm - Midnight, you can work every Friday which will be
paid at time and a half.
You will take responsibility for:- One offs and small batch production.
- Machining a range of materials including, Mild Steel, Stainless steel, and Nickel Alloys such as Invar
- Working with a range of parts, which include heavy fabrications cast iron components.
- Working with full autonomy, taking responsibility for own work and programming from scratch
What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:- You Must have a good understanding of 3 & 4 Axis machining have machined a wide range of materials including stainless, Aluminium, Mild Steel and Cast Iron.
- Must have at least 2 years' experience programming on Hidenhine.
- A strong understanding of CNC
- (FANUC), setting & operating.
- Previous experience within a precision machining/subcontract machining environment- Candidates from heavy engineering/fabrication sectors are encouraged to apply.
- Experience of CNC Programming is essential.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:- Previous experience of working with a range of materials and heavy fabrications
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable however candidates looking for their first supervisory role are highly encouraged to apply.
