The role
Reporting to and working under the Manufacturing & Quality Manager, a physically fit welder/fabricator, who will take responsibility for the upkeep, building and assembling of specialist machinery.
You will take responsibility for:
Operating a range of tools and machinery
Ensuring existing control methods are sustainable and effective whilst working within strict health and safety guidelines
Working under the department supervisor's supervision and instructions
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing/engineering/production environment is essential
Must have TIG welding, especially with stainless steel and cooper, as well as fitting, braising, and assembly.
A team player with good communication skills and comfortable working to deadlines and projects and willing to help out whenever labour is needed.
