Quality Engineer
The company
They are bridging the gap to the pharmaceutical industry's biggest names. With multiple products and many new projects being lined up soon, they are rapidly growing at their Leicester based facility.
The role
A Quality Engineer is now required join the team with an excellent opportunity to diversify into a new industry and grow with a company that looks to invest in all their employees and help them grow.
You will take responsibility for:
- Be the subject expert for the Quality Assurance Department and provide technical and engineering support for the design team and any other queries.
- Detailed engineering reviews into design, build and maintenance of all products and equipment.
- Help with change controls and QA reviews of calibration certificates.
- QA reviews of engineering procedures throughout the company
- CAPA clinics that will help the team finish their existing tasks and maintain high standards and closure rates across QI and non-conformances.
- Provide the design team with updates throughout the design process on viability and feasibility of projects and designs.
- Be the main contact point during audits to provide technical expertise on all of the equipment on site.
- Maintenance of onsite temperature control system.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing background
- Meng in either Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or similar function
- Knowledge of basic engineering disciplines such as Materials, Heat transfer, pressure and flows and mechanism and control
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Knowledge of material identification with work in verifying atoms and material structure to identify anomalies and particle contamination.
- Experience working with QPulse or another electronic QMS.
