Are you a CNC enthusiast with a knack for precision engineering? Our renowned European Machine Tool Manufacturing client is expanding its horizons and looking for a CNC Application Engineer to join their team.

The role:
Position: CNC Applications Engineer
Location: UK (Home-based with travel across the UK)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
You will take responsibility for:- Installation and commissioning of CNC Lathe machines at customer sites.
- Delivering top-notch training on machine operations, programming, and tooling.
- Enhancing customer support through product knowledge of Linear robots and bar feeding systems.
- Evaluating technical engineering drawings for optimal manufacturing approaches.
- Setting cutting parameters for efficient material cutting.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful CNC Applications Engineer to have the following:- HNC qualification or apprentice-trained in engineering.
- Over 6 years of CNC Turning experience.
- Proficiency in Fanuc Controls and G code programming.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Multi-spindle and multi-turret lathe experience.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interactions.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:- Familiarity with iHMI (Human Machine Interface).
- Knowledge of Gantry robots and bar feed loading systems.
