A global manufacturing company based in Oldbury with over 90 years in operation and over 50,000 employees looking to add to their already astounding technical team here in the UK.
The role
A CNC Setter/Operator Lathes (Siemens) is now required to join the team in Oldbury, Day shift 7.30am -4.00pm (Monday-Thursday) 7.30am - 12.30pm (Friday).
You will take responsibility for:- Operate and Set Siemens Turning Machine.
- Machining a range of materials including, Mild Steel, Stainless steel.
- Operating Forklift truck.
- Utilize Standard Tool room equipment.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:- Previous experience within a precision machining/subcontract machining environment - Candidates from heavy engineering/fabrication sectors are encouraged to apply.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
- Experience of CNC Turning.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:- Previous experience within a press tool repair and manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working to tight tolerances.
- Any part programming experience is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
