Due to significant investment, and an increase in orders, the company are looking to add a CNC Machine Operator to their stable team.
The role
A CNC Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains computer-controlled machines for precision machining. Responsibilities include material handling, tool changes, quality control, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols. Working hours Week 1 - 6 am-2 pm (Monday-Friday), Week 2 - 2 pm-10.30 pm (Monday - Thursday) Friday off.
You will take responsibility for:- Operate CNC and manual machines for tasks like turning, milling, and grinding.
- Interpret specifications from mechanical drawings, specs, and procedures.
- Load materials onto machines, conduct test runs, and set machines for full production cycles.
- Perform QA tasks, inspect finished products, and maintain machinery for safety and functionality.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:- Operating experience in either CNC Turning, CNC Milling or CNC Grinding.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Understanding quality control and using quality equipment.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:- Qualified level in machining/engineering
- SAP Knowledge within a warehouse setting
