A global manufacturing business based in Birmingham supplying into the world's leading Aerospace and defence Industries. The company is now undergoing significant expansion across its flagship Birmingham site due to a huge influx of demand with key customers and on the back of this growth are seeking a graduate HR assistant to join their team.
The role
A Graduate HR Assistant To support management and development of key metrics in the Human Resources Department
You will take responsibility for:
- Assisting in a range of activities and providing necessary support to the wider HR team
- Obtaining a good understanding of company policies and upholding good employee relations
- Driving quality in customer service with internal and external customers
- Driving administrative efficiencies, progress-chasing and ensuring all actions are closed.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Graduate HR Degree OR relevant CIPD Qualification
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft office, Sharepoint)
- Accurate typing and data entry skills, note taking and letter writing skills, analytical skills, ability to interpret information and present numerical data
- Strong communication skills and able to work with people at all levels within the organisation
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience of working within a manufacturing background is desirable but not essential
