Lead Inspector
The company
A leading, privately owned manufacturing business in Willenhall who specialise in manufacturing fasteners and precision components into the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and offshore industries. With recent expansion onto a new late shift and significant growth plans for the coming year, the company are now looking for a Lead Inspector to join them.
The role
A Lead Inspector is now required to join the team on a permanent basis covering a standard day shift from Monday-Friday
You will take responsibility for:
- Inspection of small batch fastener components
- Leading a team of 3
- Working with manual measurement equipment including Gauges, Micrometres, and Calipers
- Calibration or co ordinating Calibration
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Experience working within a Lead Inspection role.
- Ideally worked within the fasteners industry
- Working with manual equipment including Gauges, Micrometres and Calipers
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Preferably coming from an Engineering background
- Supervisory experience/ experience leading a small team
