The company
My client is a family owned and grown business operating for over 15 years specialising in panel design services. Due to an increase in demand my client is URGENTLY seeking an intuitive, and passionate design engineer with a willingness to learn and grow alongside the business.
The role
Reporting into the Managing Director, a Design Engineer is now required join the team on a permanent basis.
You will take responsibility for:- Amending existing drawings and creating new drawings from scratch in relation to panel design
- Working closely with new customers on specific design plans
- Working closely with existing customers on design changes
- Creating Bills of Materials
- Liaising with internal build and manufacturing teams on design improvements and quality checks
- Creating 2D and 3D drawings
- Using AUTOCAD to create drawings
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
Proficient knowledge in AUTOCAD. Above all else the client is seeking a dedicated and passionate engineer with a proven interest in a career within electrical design engineering.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:- Knowledge of electrical design engineering
- Knowledge of PCL software
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Positive and intuitive attitude
