Transport Planner

The company

The world's largest logistics company, operating from sites UK wide across multiple key brands and sectors who are looking for a Transport Planner to work out of one of their Birmingham sites on a night shift.

The role

A Transport Planner is now required to work on Days who will be responsible for managing and planning vehicles for collections and deliveries throughout the UK.

You will take responsibility for:

• Planning vehicles for collections and deliveries
• Dealing with internal and external customers
• Dealing with drivers' hours and vehicle regulations
• Health and Safety within the workplace

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Previous experience as a transport planner working within Transport industry.
• History in Freight Forwarding

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Being familiar with DVSA and UK Legislations
• Good understating of Planning
