After Taking on large international contracts and now implementing a number of key automation projects with UK and Ireland Customers, the company are now looking to expand their team and are now seeking a Service Engineer to join the Service Team.
The role
A Machine Tool Service Engineer is now required join the team on a permanent basis, required to work at various customer sites UK Wide.
You will take responsibility for:
- (Electro-Mechanical) Installation, commissioning and build on Special purpose machinery.
- Breakdowns and installations on Robotics primarily KUKA, ABB.
- Maintain and Service post installation of Special Purpose Machinery, Multi Axis CNC Machining Centers and various Automation Equipment
- Supporting Customers with troubleshooting mechanical/HMI issues post integration
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Mechanically biased with a strong understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience working on Machine Tools/CNC machines/special purpose machinery (servicing or maintaining)
- Mechanical Maintenance in an industrial/Manufacturing environment.
- Experience working on Automation Projects/Machinery.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Knowledge of PLCS and/or HMIs (Siemens, TIA PORTAL) would be advantageous
- Programming experience on Robotics, ABB, KUKA etc.
- Experience working with Machine tools in a field service role
