The company
A global manufacturing business, based across 4 continents and supplying into the world's leading Aerospace, defense, building and construction Industries. The company is now undergoing significant expansion across its Runcorn site and the finance department now require an Assistant Management accountant to join them.
The role
Assistant Management Accountant, reporting to the Management Accountant who will take responsibility for Operational and Commercial reporting and support with month end accounts.
You will take responsibility for:
Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting.
Inventory Analysis.
Preparation of Recoveries, Order intake and Order margin reports.
Customer Discount letter issue & Set-up.
General assistance of accounts preparation with the management accountant.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:Part or full AAT/CIMA/ACCA Qualified.
High Level of Excel skills and with other Microsoft packages.
Excellent communication skills
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
From a manufacturing/costing environment.
Experience of Oracle (Accountancy Software).
Confident, self-motivated.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation.
