A global food manufacturing business with a core focus on sustainability through innovative packaging and manufacturing processes, supplying into some of Word's major retailers. Due to a huge influx of demand with key customers and on the back of growth are seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team at their Coventry based facility.
The role
A Junior Maintenance Engineer, reporting into the Maintenance Manager, to join the Maintenance Team at their Coventry Facility.
You will take responsibility for:
- Preventative and Reactive Maintenance of plant machinery and electrical systems and keeping downtime to a minimum
- Electrical fault finding on various equipment and general maintenance of the facilities.
- Responding to breakdowns and conducting both electrical and mechanical maintenance checks as needed
- Complying to electrical safe systems across the factory
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Ideally candidate will have undergone/undergoing an engineering or electrical qualification.
- Technical engineering or electrical experience, ideally within a manufacturing/production/logistics environment
- Must be computer literate and a strong communicator with have a good attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and eager to progress.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- City and Guilds Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline or 17th/18thedition qualifications would be highly advantageous.
