The Company:
One of the UK's leading aluminium experts, who supply castings into a range of sectors including energy and automotive OEMs. After significant investment in its Coventry-based facility, they are looking to add a Project Manager to their team permanently.
The Role:
Now looking for a dynamic and all-rounded Project Manager to take control of projects from their Coventry location. They will report directly to the Production Director.
You will take responsibility for:
- Lead end-to-end project management, ensuring timely and profitable completion.
- Understand the cost implications of the project and guide both internal and external stakeholders on cost analysis, ensuring projects are delivered to budget
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, prioritising external satisfaction with project timelines.
- Understand and fulfil commercial contract requirements.
- Oversee project contracts, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion in line with technical and commercial aspects.
- Provide initial cash flow predictions and manage overall project finances, preparing reports for Senior Management as needed.
- Manage project purchasing, create specifications for multiple suppliers, and provide senior management with project status updates.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential project risks and issues.
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer / Project Manager / Manufacturing Engineer within the Automotive and/or Heavy Engineering setting
- Track record of managing projects cradle to grave
- Ideally experienced within management of high value projects from £1 MILLION+
Other DESIRABLE experience include:
- Experience within Castings / Foundry industry
