The role A
CNC Turner Setter / Operator (Nights) is now required to join the team permanently. You will be setting up, operating, and maintaining machines for our manufacturing and production processes. Your job is to ensure that their machines work correctly and efficiently, helping them meet production goals and quality standards. You'll work with their production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues. This is a four-day workweek (Mon-Thur), 38 hours/week 8.00 pm - 6.00 am (Mon-Thur) with Overtime available 1.33x Mon-Fri, 1.5x Saturday and 2.0x Sunday.
You will take responsibility for:- Utilise and oversee CNC Turning machinery to manufacture products and perform various functions.
- Adjust the tooling of the CNC machine as required.
- Edit the CNC programme post-production to refine the process for optimal performance.
- Maintain precise records and documentation related to your work.
- Promptly communicate any issues or failures that could affect the organisation and its clients/customers to the Line Manager.
What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:- Previous experience within a CNC Setter / Operator (Turning) position.
- Edit programs in G-Code controls (Fanuc Ideal).
- In-depth understanding of CNC Turning machinery and its operation.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:- Understanding of CNC Milling machinery and its operation.
