The company

The world's largest logistics company, operating from sites UK wide across multiple key brands and sectors who are looking for a Transport Planner to work out of one of their Birmingham sites on a night shift.

The role

A Transport Planner is now required who will be responsible for managing and planning vehicles for collections and deliveries throughout the UK

You will take responsibility for:

• Planning vehicles for collections and deliveries
• Dealing with internal and external customers
• Dealing with drivers' hours and vehicle regulations
• Health and Safety within the workplace

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Previous experience as a transport planner working within Transport industry
• History in Freight Forwarding

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Being familiar with DVSA and UK Legislations
• Good understating of Aviation Security Regulations

What is on offer

On offer is a chance to join one of the largest Logistics companies with an excellent reputation in the local area, working 37.5 hours per week on a night shift. The salary on offer is £30,000, including shift allowance, on a permanent basis.
