Production Supervisor- Afternoons
The company
A leading supplier of Body in White (BIW) components and assemblies within the automotive industry, supplying into some of the world's largest automotive blue-chip companies, are now looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team based on an afternoon shift, you will be responsible for 2 facilities within 1 mile of each other.
The role
A Production Supervisor is now required join the team working a permanent afternoon shift, will be responsible for the whole site and team.
You will take responsibility for:
- Supervising 20+ workers within the Fabrication, Brake Press, Welding and Assembly functions
- Supervising and monitoring work across 2 sites
- Preparing the finished products and getting it ready for dispatch
- Managing a team which involves recruitment, inductions, and training
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Supervisory experience ideally within a Sheet Metal/BIW/Automotive setting
- Previous experience working with any of the following: Brake Press, Laser, Welding and Assembly processes
- Supervisory/ management experience
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Hands on experience of processes such as Brake Press/Welding/Sheet Metal processing would be advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience working within the Automotive industry and standards would be advantageous but not essential
